A Little Boy and His Favorite Pikachu

One day, I saw a little boy with his father visited my plush store. The little boy asked his father to buy a pikachu for him. After few seconds, they left store silently. I asked my assistant,"did his father ask about the price?" My assistant replied no. Actually, I'm kinda curious why his father never asked the price since his son like it so much.  Then another assistant said this little boy often visit store but only starring at his only favorite pikachu although there are another pikachu's pattern. I thought this kind of story line is only happening in drama.

How come a little boy being so obsessed with a toy.

His favorite yellow pikachu

This little boy came to our store again but alone. He slightly opened the door and closed. My elder sister recognized him. She told me this little boy was coming with his mother two days ago. At first, he begged his mother to buy his favorite pikachu for him. Sadly, his mother refused his wish because too expensive. I believed his mother was really wanted to buy his favorite pikachu for him but somehow i felt maybe there is an unspoken reason. Then his mother offered him the small sized pikachu. So, he left our store with the small sized pikachu which is not the one he craving for.

After I heard my sister's story. I felt kinda sad because nobody could grant his little wish. So, he just able to stroll around our store to look at his favorite pikachu. Then both of us decided to find him and give him his favorite pikachu. So, finally we found him at his parents' working stand but actually we was not sure is this the little boy that always come to store. So, we asked his parents directly then this little boy suddenly showed us the little pikachu that his mom bought from our store. He was so exciting look at the pikachu that we held. Finally, we passed his favorite pikachu to him and he was so happy. And so do I.

Suddenly, I remembered my motto of selling plush is "spreading happiness with doll and plushies". Honestly, I felt sorry because I almost forget my motto.

Actually, I wrote this blog on the same day but I didn't publish it. I publish this blog after 3 months because I forget how to be grateful today. I'm not sure what is the reason why his parent's didn't grant his wish but I felt somehow they couldn't afford. Anyway, this is my speculation from his parents outfit and working place. So, I hope my reader and of course myself will always remember to be grateful while we can afford our needs.
