TIM HO WAN 添好运 (SINGAPORE)

A very long queue greeted us during lunch time. Without no doubt, definitely ‘ho chiak’.

Steamed Spinach Dumpling with Shrimp
So in love with this dish! The natural flavors from the juicy shrimp and spinach complement each other perfectly. The thin and sticky dumpling skin give an easy melt-in- the mouth experience. Allow me to sing John Lennon’s song … “OH MY LOVE for first the time…”
Price: $3.80

Steamed Egg Cake
The first impression when the waitress serve this dish, I was thought the taste maybe just like local nyonya kue, in Teochew we called it “Huat Kue”. I was kinda didn’t want to try it but at last… don’t know why, I try it. Well, surprisingly good! Even the taste was quite similar with ‘huat kue’ but this one super ‘ho chiak’, unique in it’s own way! QQ texture, soft  and fluffy. If you push down the egg cake, it would bounce back up. Must eat this while it’s hot. Strongly recommended!
I’m gonna sing “I really really really really like you” – Carly Rae Jepsen’s song
Price: $3.80

Steamed Fish Maw with Prawn Paste
Fish maw.. fish maw… fish maw…The texture is quite slippery, springy and soft.
Price: $5.50

   Prawn Dumpling
Amazing fresh prawns to satisfy your ‘Har Gao’ cravings!
Thumbs up for the freshness!
Price: $6.00

  Pan Fried Radish Cake
This is my favorite! I am a huge fun of radish cake. Wherever I eat dimsum, I always eat the radish cake at least more than one piece. Well, the tops and bottoms are crispy, and tender inside.
Price: $3.80

Glutinous Rice with Lotus Leaf
Just order one portion first because if you finish the whole portion, I’m sure you will feel very very full. Well the taste is good with a lot of fillings, so you not just eat the sticky rice only but also can taste the fillings in every bite.
Price: $6.00

Beancurd Skin with Pork & Shrimp
Actually almost the dimsum fillings are same. I just can say the ingredients confirm fresh. The special is on the beancurd skin with a little bit taste of salty and covered by flavorful sauce.
Price: $5.00

Beancurd Skin Roll with Shrimp
Yeay! Another with beancurd skin but this one is fried version. Fairly good, nothing special.
Price: $6.00

 Baked Bun with BBQ Pork
This is cool! The fillings just like the fillings of steamed Char Siew Bao but the this one is baked version. Biting into crispy and sugary skin with good marinated and moist Char Siew fillings brought me to happy land for a few seconds. This is one of the must orders here.
Price: $5.00

Spring Roll with Egg White
What a creative dish! Normally the spring roll filling should be cabbage, carrot or something else but this one is unique in it’s own way with egg white fillings and some veggie. Crispy and crunchy … crunch crunch curcnh..
Price: $4.50

Congee with Pork, Century Egg & Salted Egg
Hey! I’m congee lover! To me, this congee is not very thick but quite light and silky smooth. Extremely good taste combination of pork, century egg and salted egg. Slurrrrrrp till last drop. Mi piacciono il congee.
Price: $4.20

Pork Dumpling with Shrimp
Siu Mai -  one of the most popular items of dim sum brunch, found on almost every dim sum table. Quite unique, it is topped with a single goji berry.
Price: $5.50

 Vermicelli Roll with Sesame Sauce
Quite good! The sesame sauce makes it tasty enough.
Price: $4.20

Vermicelli Roll Pig’s Liver
I like the slippery texture cheong fun. A bit bland but quite tasty.
Price: $5.50

Braised Chicken Feet with Abalone Sauce
Sorry, I didn’t try this but my mom said it’s delicious. Well okay!
Price: $5.00
Chinese Tea
It’s a pretty standard Chinese tea.
Price: $1.30

 Homemade Longan
The longan taste was pretty distinct. Taste good and ulalalaa! More prefer this than Chinese tea.
Price: $2.00
